Why there is no more offer wall?

Gameview was unluckily forced to remove offer wall from its apps.

This decision was hard to make but they didn’t have other choice.

Apple did change their policies around 20th of April 2011. Apple started rejecting apps which had offer walls where users can download other developer’s apps in exchange for virtual currency. The company is arguing that they violate the developer’s agreement by allowing apps to cheat the chart ranking (downloading make it up the top 50 in day or two).

This change in policies affects us, players (since we have no ways to earn free bucks) but also developers (they loose nice income from their pay-per-download option, they get paid for every app we downloaded for bucks and they are loosing users because there are no more ways to earn free bucks) and also several companies who provided such opportunities (such as tapjoy or W3 – they need find other ways to continue or bankrupt and close business).

Then yes, we all are in trouble (except for Apple who hope to earn nicely by being only one to be able to promote app).

Google is also considering of making same move as Apple and prohibit offer walls. Then Android users might be in same trouble as we iDevices users soon.

    what about purchasing fish bucks... i am still unable to purchase anything

    I am thinking of dumping this app - I have 1.6 billion coins and nothing to spend them on..

    I also need bucks to buy some of the fish I don't have. Right now the game is kind of a dud.
