  25. Level 62. Soon as I get those freakin' eels in a few days, I'm taking a vacation from the greenies for a couple of weeks and just running eels in all of my snapper tanks. Geez, Tapfish, 40,000 XPs between levels? And then 80,000 after level 70? Hell, my great whites and I will all be on Social Security by then. ... PeninsulaLover

  26. I've seen the posts for the iPad accounts - they are getting by really cheaply from what I've been reading - just 1,000 for a new tank! Shoot, but I can't help it if I have an Andriod! Don't need to charge me an arm and a leg just to get by!! They charge plenty enough for their "Breeder's" so why do they keep adding up the number of "additional" points you need to go on up through the levels?!! Or to buy the new Breeders??? hugh? I ask you... why??
    Anyone out there have any tips on which are the best to breed, or buy to raise for the extra "$" ??? So far, I've been buying Catfish to raise and then turn around and resell when they are "grown-up".

  30. I'm a merchant marine, work on ships, so I don't always have a signal to play when I would like. When I get some down time, this game kills a lot of it, but is very relaxing. I'm currently @ level 42 w/ 25 tanks. My screen name is, Slayer24.

  40. I agree, it's crazy how many points you have to earn to get to the next level. I'm only on level 44, but I've been trying to get to 55 to get a dolphin, then I'm going to quit worrying about levels for a while and take a break. I don't have a jail broke phone so have to play by the rules, but I do agree that it's getting ridiculous the higher up you get. I also can't afford to "buy" fishbucks so they are few and far between. I made enough coins to buy and sell the white grunt fish. I use the white grunt for a couple of reasons, one, it's is adult in 24 hrs, and two, I have enough coins now to fill 10 tanks with 50 white grunts. I I sell them one at a time, I get 2xp's per fish. Then I put a food brick in the tank and add the white grunt fish one at a time, wait for the message that notifys me all the fish are fed, so that gives me 2 more xp's, one for adding the fish and one when it "eats" off the food brick. So every 24 hrs I get 4 xp's per fish x 50 fish per tank = 200xp's per tank x's 10 tanks = 2000 xp's every 24 hrs. It's time consuming but the only way I know how to rack up the xp's to get to next level. From playn4fun

  41. oh, another thing I've figure out (excuse me if this is common knowledge but I'm new to this tapfish thing, only been playing a couple weeks) anyway, once you hit 90% on the "happiness" meter it's the same as 100% so doin't waste your coins/bucks on additional items. 90% or 100%, it's all the same bonus :)

  53. With my intense determination I sold and restocked 132 tanks of Green Snaps, gaining +20000 XP and advancing from Lv 36 to Lv 40. It was a great deal of hardwork!

    Meanwhile with the 100% happiness I got 20% bonus and gain about 5,679,200 coins per day. Conclusion: coins are easy to get but XP is hard. Thanks BlackPearls for cleaning and feeding my tanks.

  61. Is this where I put my player name? I sure like all the hints and tips. So much I still don't understand. But I'm learning. I really need fb. And so hard to get. Bought some to buy lovely. Fish and was going to get one of each and feed each one as I got it. Well trying to go to get food kept hitting right bottom corner and ended up wasting lots if bucks because each tap gave ne another fish without me seeing it. Thought phone was being stubborn not letting me out if egg section. Ugh!! Oh yeah my game name is.........pditzy........

    1. If you had saved your game earlier, then you can try uninstalling the app and reinstalling it. From my experience the Bubble Tip will pop out and have a title of Offer Bucks Added and a description that says Congratulations you have earned (xxx) fishbucks. You should be able to get your fishes back as well :)

  70. Wanted to share my method of getting free fish bucks and coins! I hope the author allows this post here or will point me in the direction of somewhere I can!

    1) download the app 'gameCIH2' from the market, or simply google the name and download the apk file (make sure unknown sources is enabled on your device settings!) 2) open gameCIH2. 3) click gameCIH2's hot key option, and press volume down on your phone or tablet. 4) open up TapFish, leaving gameCIH2 open. 5) once TapFish is loaded, press your volume down button to open GameCIH2's interface. 6) select the 'input name' option and enter 'gameBucks'. 7) select the title next to the open lock icon that reads 'gameBucks: (your current Fishbucks value)' and change the value to your desired amount.

    For coins, repeat the same process, but instead of entering 'gameBucks' enter 'gameCoins'.

    2. No Moderator (or anything in moderation, for that matter!) lurking around THIS account. Just a typicaL, sweet, girle-girl who happened to stumble upon a little way to add fish WITHOUT hacking or doing anything illegally...I'll post a video for you on my YOUTUBE account that shows how I discovered this...I think it must have happened from my many hours of tap tap tapping! I simply fill any tank with 50 fish (max allowed)then begin to inventory the entire tank all at once, as fast as I can by tap-tap-tapping and each time I empty then re-fill the same tank, a few fish aren't inventoried and remain left in the tank, so after about 5-7 empties & refills, I have about 100 fish in that same tank!
      Try it out, I'm curious to see if it is just my TapFish account/cell phone that does this or if anyone else can do it too! Let me know! :)

    1. That's because neighbours cannot read the names of others' tanks, so even if your neighbours name their tanks, you will only see them as Tank 1, Tank 2 etc.

  104. AlliFishie-(Newbie on Android): I received a msg which said "max limit 12 different decorations per tank". Does that mean 12 total objects (besides fish) or can I have multiples of 12 different items? Note - I'm not sure how to post, No written instructions.

    1. 12 different items. In other words, you can have as many decorations as you like but there is a limit of 12 types. Note that decorations and plants are different things: you can have 12 different decorations and different plants as well.

  105. Hey all tapfishers!! I have a question....i,am playing tapfish from google play on my asus transformer. I just completed all of the eagle ray breedables...... 60 of them, but there wasnt a reward for completing the trophy. It said " congratulations...you completed a breedable trophy". I haveread that there is a reward or mini games for completing the breeding trophys but nothing happened. I can claim reward for completing the first ones...ie starters trophy...but not the breedable trophy. Can anyone help??

    i am at level 67, with 7,444,537,116 coins and have bred 4,203 of the hybrids. ha ha ha my goal is to buy the great white at level 80......it'll take roughly two more years to get there!! ugh :)
