Now that's strange, so I restarted the game:
Final conclusion: it starved to death in 25 hours! RIP? Not yet!
And BIG surprise!
It's not adult anymore. Maybe I'll change it's name to Benjamin Button !?
And what's more strange, a dead fish still shows in the breeding tank. Hmmm, Necrophile? Was not enough that they can breed under age, now they can do it while dead?
